Besyde is a cross-platform location-based MMO for web-browsers and mobiles.
It allows players to participate in the defense of Eora, a parallel world in which creatures (the "anymas") protect a tree of life regularly attacked by pests. The goal is simple: help anymas to protect their tree of life and the magical ambers that give it strength against the incessant plagues attacks.

The more ambers youbring to the tree of life, the more it strengthens against its enemies an and rewards you with special powers andpersonal distinctions. Collaborative geo questswill also allow players to play together to release more anymas, findrare items, and ultimatelygrow their communitytree faster than others!
Indeed, at the first login, each player must choosea tree to defend. Some players will choose to protect a tree of life close to their home;others will choose a tree near their work, or the tree inwhich their friends are already connected. Inthe end, everyone contributes,through his/her geotagged actions,to the defense of his/her community.
